Apple Event: iOS 4.3 and Apps

As I said in the previous post, todays apple event was not only about iPad 2 but also about iOS 4.3 and a some new apps like GarageBand and iMovie for the iPad 2.

For starters the iOS 4.3 is only going to be available for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad 1&2 and iTouch 3rd and 4th gens. This is quite bad for me as I own a 2nd gen *sigh*, there hasn’t been much of a change from 4.2.1 and 4.3 so i’m not missing out on anything, the changes have been a better Safari performance, by using Nitro javascript engine, iTunes home sharing i.e share your files wirelessly with iTunes, improvemnts on the airplay, you can have a personal hotspot for the iPhone 4 only, and a new PhotoBooth for the iPad, where you can add some cool effects. And as suspected FaceTime being enabled.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Now onto the apps, first off iMovie with which you can edit your videos, pictures and etc, and share it on youtube, vimeo and etc on the go, it will cost 4.99$ and will be released on March 11th. Same goes for GarageBand, where you can play the piano, drums(with front view), and guitar acoustic or with an amp, comes out on the 11th and will cost 4.99$. All pictures are in the slideshow, so enjoy.

Again special thanks to engadget for all the pictures through their liveblog.
